As a Security Officer - Medical Facilityin North Las Vegas NV you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas help to discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this people-first role you will support patients visitors and staff while working with a team that values being agile reliable and innovative and always acting with integrity.

Due to the safety sensitive nature of this rolequalified candidates must be able tosubmit todrug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. As such a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Assist hospital staff with de-escalation of situations involving patients; restrain combative individuals as necessary (within company and customer guidelines)

• Transport deceased patients to the morgue as needed

• Assist in escorting patients from helicopter pad (high elevation) to the emergency room

• Provide customer service to staff patients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related screening support and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm professional and problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and note unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access assist with visitor direction and support site protocols for patient care environments.
• Communicate with site contacts first responders and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents hazards and operational needs while following post orders and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
