About the role

This role supports the strategic and operational effectiveness of the City Planning & Design Directorate by managing business systems processes and reporting. It contributes to the delivery of Councils operational and strategic priorities through cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

On a daily basis you will

  • Develop and manage systems and processes that support strategic alignment and operational efficiency
  • Prepare reports dashboards and presentations to support informed decision-making
  • Coordinate statutory and performance reporting including fees and strategic measures
  • Support procurement and financial processes ensuring compliance with Council policies
  • Map processes and drive the implementation of process improvement projects
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement business improvement initiatives


About you

The successful candidate will bring a minumum 2 years experience in resource monitoring and reporting. You are proficient in business management software including spreadsheets project management and document systems.

You will also must bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Excellent planning organisation and time management abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $113.019 plus 12% superannuation.
