The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Global Services (BGS) seeking an Engineering Technical Specialist (Associate Level) to support our Government Training Engineering (GTE) team in Berkeley MO or Hazelwood MO.
As part of this team the Lab Focal would assist in managing labs supporting integration and testing for GTE training and simulation devices. This is an exciting opportunity to drive lab excellence and support the development of training devices for multiple GTE platforms.
Position Responsibilities:
- Register labs in appropriate tracking tools and ensure labs meet and exceed safety FOD lean/5S Cybersecurity and configuration control standards
- Assist in managing and maintaining compliance of GTE lab equipment and inventories
- Assist in the management of System Security Plans
- Assist in the management of the configuration of the devices within GTE labs
- System administration for systems within the GTE labs
- Identify GTE lab growth requirements and work with facilities to meet the requirements
- Maintain lab schedules and assist in coordination of activities of the lab
- Perform lab surveillance checklists assist in resolving day-to-day issues in the lab
- Ability to work on-site 5 days per week
- May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years experience supporting software development programs including hands-on experience with software verification reviews or testing
- 1 years experience performing system integration work
- 1 years experience working with technical infrastructure configurations such as servers databases networks development environments services and software
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study
- 1 years experience in both program physical security and cyber security as they pertain to government program protection requirements
- 1 years experience working in and with classified program requirements developing security plans and operating within the restrictions of this type of office and/or lab environment
- 3 years experience working in an engineering lab
- Active US Security Clearance
- Experience managing test venues or integration laboratories
- Experience in software development IT/networking systems engineering electrical/computer engineering or other similar technical disciplines
- Excellent communication skills working across multiple teams
- CompTIA Security Certification
