About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Intern to join our on-site team at our corporate office and testing facility in Oklahoma City OK. This is a hands-on internship designed for individuals looking to build practical experience in a fast-paced industrial IT environment. Working alongside experienced IT professionals the intern will provide day-to-day technical support maintain hardware across the site and help ensure the accuracy of our IT ticketing system.

  • Set up configure and deploy desktop computers laptops monitors printers and peripherals for end users across the site.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware faults arranging repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on IT equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Support the installation and replacement of hardware components (RAM hard drives peripherals etc.).
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding warranty repairs and equipment returns.
  • Assist in setting up workstations for new starters relocations and temporary users on the shop floor.
  • Ensure all work is fully documented in the IT ticketing system (Jira).

About You

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree or qualification in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
  • Solid foundational understanding of PC hardware components and how they work.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A willingness to work on-site in an active manufacturing environment and follow all safety training procedures.
  • Clear and professional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer services skills and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Previous experience in technical support helpdesk or IT administration role (even informal or voluntary)
  • Familiarity with asset management tools or ticketing systems
  • Experience working in a manufacturing industrial or similarly structured environment
