Job Summary

Haven Home Care Hiring Caregivers Across 22 Cities in Two Counties

WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE

You drive to someones home. You help them with daily life. Baths. Getting dressed. Making meals. Light cleaning. Running errands. Keeping them company. Most of your clients are older adults who need a hand staying independent.

This is physical work. You help people move around. Youre on your feet most of the day. If you need help doing these tasks tell us. We can talk about what might work.

You do NOT give medicine or handle medical tasks. Thats for nurses.

Most Home Health Aides work with 2-4 regular clients the same people every week. You build real relationships. One caregiver has been here 18 years.

22 CITIES ACROSS TWO COUNTIES

STARK COUNTY: Alliance Brewster Canton Dalton Massillon Navarre North Canton Paris

SUMMIT COUNTY: Akron Barberton Copley Cuyahoga Falls Hartville Hudson Kent New Franklin Norton Rootstown Silver Lake Stow Tallmadge Uniontown

Heres what you need to know: Most of our clients are in Summit County (Akron area). Were growing in Stark County but have fewer clients there right now.

What this means for you:

- Open to BOTH counties Faster start more hours available

- Stark County only Longer wait for your first client

Well ask your preference in the application. We match based on how far youll travel not just county lines.

YOU CHOOSE YOUR LIMITS

During your phone interview you tell us: pets smoking travel distance days and times youre available. We only assign clients that match what YOU said. Period.

The tradeoff is simple. The more flexible you are the faster you start. The more strict your limits the longer you may wait.

We might have 5 clients today. But if none match your limits for you there are zero. You decide how fast this goes.

What that looks like:

- Open to most things Could begin with 20-40 hours right away

- Strict limits May wait 1-2 weeks for a matching client

- Open but no matches today Youre first in line for the next one

Your first 2 weeks we test reliability with fill-in shifts. But if a permanent client matches you immediately we assign them immediately.

After that your regulars are yours. Want more hours Pick up extra fill-in shifts anytime.

Want to change your limits later Just let us know.
