Quality Assurance(QA) & Control(QC) Specialist

Job Summary

FlexForce Pros is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC) Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring construction projects meet all quality safety and compliance standards. This role oversees inspections quality control processes and corrective actions while working closely with project teams subcontractors and suppliers across active job sites.

***Please Note: This is a long-term project role for one-year or longer in Vicksburg Mississippi.

Job Duties

• Enforce OSHA and jobsite safety standards with zero tolerance

• Implement and monitor quality control procedures across projects

• Perform on-site inspections of workmanship materials and safety

• Identify non-compliance issues and support corrective actions

• Review subcontractor and supplier quality performance

• Maintain quality documentation reports and inspection records

• Support emergency response and disaster recovery projects as needed

• Collaborate with project teams to achieve quality and schedule goals

• Recommend process improvements and best practices

Minimum Requirements:

Education

• High School Education or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• 3 years of experience in construction restoration or reconstruction

• OSHA-30 certified (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

• Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools

• Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills

• Valid drivers license and ability to pass pre-employment screenings

Preferred

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or related field

• Quality control or related certifications

• Experience reviewing schedules costs and change orders

• Familiarity with CPM scheduling and construction management software

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk bend and stoop for extended periods

• Ability to lift 40 pounds regularly without assistance

• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination

• Primarily outdoor active construction sites

• Exposure to weather noise dust and construction hazards

• Ability to walk uneven terrain and inspect work for extended periods

• Use of PPE required at all times on site
