Job Summary
This position is a hybrid of a campus event coordinator and social media coordinator at the district level.
Event & Volunteer Coordinator (Goodyear Campus)
Position Hours:
- Part-time afternoons
- Occasional Friday and evening hours depending on event needs
Responsibilities:
- Plan organize and lead campus and family community events
- Utilize digital programs to create and distribute flyers/newsletters to parents and community members

- Assist STUGO/Ambassadors club with event execution and ideas

Communications Assistant (Social Media & Advertising) - District
Position Hours:
Part-time - mornings and some Fridays as needed
Requirements:
- Understanding of media relations and digital media strategies
- Proficient in MS Office photography software and graphic design
- Solid editing organizational and research skills
- Excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
- Strong attention to detail
- Self starter willingness to take creative leaps while protecting the Odyssey brand
Responsibilities:
- Execute social media strategy
- Generate edit publish and share content (original text images video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
- Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of companys social content
- Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
- Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
- Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics insights and best practices and then acting on the information
- Collaborate with Communications Director weekly and liaison with campus event coordinators to build brand manage reputation and effectively share information with the community.
- Assist in executing current marketing campaigns
- Visit all campuses weekly document Odyssey life with photos and video
- Organize media in one central location for future use
- Visit new communities set up local events as needed
