We act for this role supports our workThe Business Partner Workplace Relations (P&C) provides practical advice and support across workplace and industrial relations matters. The role works closely with P&C Business Partners and leaders to help manage people issues fairly consistently and in line with relevant employment and industrial a strong focus on daytoday problem solving the role supports leaders managers staff and volunteers to understand and apply Red Cross people policies industrial instruments and sound people practices. The emphasis is on early intervention clear processes and good judgement contributing to positive employee experiences and safe respectful role manages workplace relations matters such as performance concerns misconduct grievances bullying discrimination and EEO issues. Working alongside P&C Business Partners WHS and specialist teams the role also contributes to maintaining and improving policies guidance materials training resources and reporting to support compliant and consistent people practices across the youYou are an experienced workplace relations professional with a solid background in employee and industrial relations. You provide practical balanced advice on employment legislation industrial instruments investigations and case management helping leaders navigate sensitive matters with confidence and take a clear peoplefocused approach supporting fair outcomes while managing risk and compliance. You are comfortable working in regulated environments and understand the importance of sound documentation governance and consistent role is suited to candidates with a relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience gained in medium to large organisations. You are able to adapt your advice to different operating environments and work collaboratively to support safe fair and psychologically healthy workplaces enabling Australian Red Cross to deliver on its will bringExperience supporting workplace initiatives and change activities including restructures or operational changeWelldeveloped analytical skills with the ability to assess information consider risks and provide clear reasoned adviceStrong communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to build trust explain complex issues clearly and work effectively with a range of stakeholdersExperience providing practical P&C advice on workplace relations matters aligned to organisational policies and prioritiesSound knowledge of industrial instruments and employment frameworks with the ability to apply them in everyday situationsStrong organisation and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage multiple matters across different client groupsBenefits that act for you while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
