Job Summary

  • Command the Company over the G1-9 functions
  • Lead and manage a diverse workforce across a wide-ranging and evolving priority stack
  • Direct planning and conduct of the Coy programme including training and operations
  • Direct the growth and maintenance of Support Weapons functions and Specialist Dets
  • Lead the exploration of specialist capabilities that compliment an ARes Inf Coy and Bn
  • Manage risk using delegated powers of a subordinate commander and conduct Risk Assessments as required
  • Undertake disciplinary or administrative action using delegated powers of a subordinate commander
  • Mentor and develop the junior officers in the sub-unit IAW current policy
  • Fulfil reporting officer responsibilities IAW current policy (JSP757) and represent personnel at grading conferences
  • Responsible for the Coy recruitment planning and conduct with assistance from the PSAO REMSO and ROSO
  • Take a full and active part in Bn extra-mural activities and in Officers Mess life
  • All other tasks as directed by the CoC

  • Ideally lives and works on the Bn footprint or can demonstrate ability to travel and reside in the area as required
