Social Worker – Childrens Court Team

Liquid Personnel istwo experienced Social Workers to join its clients Childrens Court Team based in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity for practitioners with strong court experience to work within a dedicated specialist team managing care proceedings and complex statutory work. The successful candidates will be based at 31 Chester Street Wrexham with a hybrid working arrangement requiring 34 days per week in the office.

What will your responsibilities be

• Manage a caseload ofChildrens Court work including care proceedings under public law.
• Complete high-quality assessments statements and court reports within set timescales.
• Represent the local authority in court and work closely with legal services.
• Undertake direct work with children and families to assess risk and promote safeguarding and permanence planning.
• Ensure all statutory duties are met in line with legislation guidance and local procedures.
• Maintain accurate timely case records using electronic case management systems.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams legal professionals and partner agencies.
• Participate in supervision and contribute positively to team working.

Skills and Qualification Required:

To be successful in this role you must have;

• Degree level qualification in Social Work (or equivalent).
• Registered withSocial Care Wales.
• Significant post-qualified experience within Childrens Services.
• Essential experience in court work and care proceedings.
• Strong analytical report-writing and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced statutory environment.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
