About the role and what youll be doing:
The Onsite Desktop Support Engineer manages the full physical and digital lifecycle of company hardware and software. This role balances high-volume equipment provisioning (imaging and shipping) with expert technical support. You will ensure that workstations are perfectly configured before deployment and remain functional through proactiveMicrosoft 365management and comprehensive onsite/remote troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage user accounts licenses and group memberships within theM365 Admin Center; troubleshoot issues withOutlookprofilesOneDrivesync errors andTeamsconnectivity.
Hardware Provisioning & Imaging: Execute the end-to-end setup of laptops and desktops using deployment tools (e.g.SCCM Intune Autopilot); ensure all OS patches drivers and core applications are verified before the device leaves the bench.
Logistics & Shipment: Securely package label and track hardware shipments to remote employees ensuring out-of-the-box readiness and zero transit damage.
Remote Technical Troubleshooting: Support offsite employees via remote desktop tools (e.g.TeamViewer Quick Assist) to resolve software conflictsVPNconnectivity and M365 application crashes.
Onsite White Glove Support: Provide walk-up or desk-side assistance for local office staff resolving hardware failures docking station connectivity and conference room A/V issues.
Connectivity & Network Support: Troubleshoot local LAN/Wi-Fi issues onsite and guide remote users through home-network optimization for stable cloud-app performance.
Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain a meticulous log of all hardware assets tracking in-flight shipments onsite spares and retired equipment in theITSM (e.g. ServiceNow or Jira).
Break/Fix & Maintenance: Perform hardware repairs (RAM upgrades screen replacements) and manage the secure decommissioning/wiping of legacy drives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
M365 Proficiency: Hands-on experience troubleshooting theMicrosoft 365 suite(Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams and OneDrive).
Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge ofWindows 10/11andmacOS; familiarity with BIOS/UEFI settings and hardware diagnostic tools.
Remote Support Tools: Proven experience using remote control software and ticketing systems to manage a high volume of support requests.
Operational Precision: Extreme attention to detail regarding asset tagging shipping documentation and cable management.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) and maintain an organized build-room environment.
Preferred Certifications
Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.
CompTIA AorNetwork.

As of the date of this posting a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $52200 to $62000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills experience internal equity and business addition to base salary other compensation programs depending on eligibility include an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
