The successful candidate will have 1-4 years experience in the financial services or investment banking industry. Requires a 4 year college degree and an interest in career development. Prior experience in facilities or property management portfolio management business analysis financial operations or other specialized experience in the industry may be required. MBA or other graduate level education a plus.
The Equity Trade Support Group (TSG) is responsible for a wide range of functions critical to the execution and support of cash equity trades. Active communication between Sales Trading Controllers Settlements Client Service IT Compliance and various other Ops areas is essential to the daily process. TSG owns the key controls within trade support operations and acts as coordinator for day-to-day activities.
Skills Required

With the traders as our clients the candidate must develop a strong working relationship with each group of traders that they will cover.

- An ability to multitask and take the initiative
In addition a high level of competency with Excel is essential due to the extensive work involved from the bespoke technical analysis that is often required.
Business Knowledge:
- A good understanding in Equity products is preferred with prior experience of a trade support role highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of trade execution price and trade life cycle events.
Professional Attributes:
- Working on a trading floor the candidate must be professional at all times especially under high pressure situations.
- Organizational Ability: The candidate needs to be able to successfully organize and prioritize their work.
- Communication: TSG is a key point of contact for all areas of the bank the candidate must be able to clearly explain complex details to other interested parties and articulate the Ops perspective to the desk communication must be done in a professional and timely manner.
- Teamwork: Essential in a close team where each member will cover another in their absence. Knowledge sharing and assistance is a requirement to flatten out unequal workloads that may occur across the desk.

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent (any discipline)
- The ability to work in a constantly changing environment; identifying where process improvements can be made
- Guardianship focused with the ability to identify risk areas and question accordingly
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills alongside the ability to assimilate and learn quickly
