Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a MedSurg/Telemetry unit. This is a 32-bed unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to MedSurg and telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry equipment
- Administer medications including heparin drips and other acute treatments
- Care for trauma patients and manage complex clinical conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum experience in MedSurg/Telemetry (required)
- BLS & ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong experience with cardiac monitoring and acute care medications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Skilled Nursing or Rehabilitation settings
- Prior NICHE training
