Role: Program Manager- Families Together
Employment Type: Permanent part time 32 hours per week
Location: Taree
This newly created Program Manager Families Together role provides operational and practice leadership within the Child Youth and Family portfolio. The roleis responsible forleading a team of Family Support Practitioners to deliver highquality responsive services that support family preservation strengthening safety parenting and family functioning and to reduce entry into Out of Home Care so children can remain at safely home.
The Program Manager holds accountability for program performance contractual obligations compliance safeguarding and continuous improvement while fostering reflective practice and workforce capability.

- Provide program people and practice leadership to the Families Together team embedding traumainformed and childcenteredpractice.
- Lead manage support and retain a qualified and motivated team that supports the culture values and business objectives of LWB
- Promote and implement organisational practice initiatives embedding Therapeutic Crisis Intervention - Families and the CARE model.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and funding agency standards to maintain a consistent standard of quality.
- Proactively manage and escalate risks with a particular focus on vulnerable clients in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Promote and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including working closely DCJ.
Skills & Experience
- A recognised Degree qualification in Human Services Social Work Psychology or Social Sciences or related field.
- Current Australian drivers licence.
- Demonstrated experience of working in a leadership or management role
- Knowledge of relevant policy legislation and standards or capacity to acquire this knowledge.
- Demonstrated commitment to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds with specific reference to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Ability to communicate persuasively solve problems effectively to achieve results and demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check NSW Working with Children Check and Residential Workers Screening Check.
