DevOps Intern

Customized Energy Solutions India Pvt Ltd. is seeking a motivated DeOps Intern to join our Future Grid team. Youll work on real-world energy market applications contributing to backend systems that process large-scale data optimize energy portfolios and deliver actionable insights to our clients.

An ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in Python and Django with the ability to build scalable APIs design efficient data pipelines and work confidently with AWS services and databases. They take ownership of systems end-to-end can debug production issues effectively and collaborate well in a fast-paced DevOps-driven environment.

Key responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for energy market data processing
• Work with AWS cloud services (Lambda ECS SQS S3) to deploy scalable applications
• Implement data pipelines for real-time and batch processing of energy market data
• Write efficient database queries and optimize data models (PostgreSQL MongoDB)
• Collaborate with the team on code reviews testing and deployment processes
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues in a fast-paced environment
• Contribute to infrastructure automation and DevOps workflows

Qualifications :

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
• Strong foundation in Python programming
• Understanding of web frameworks (Django/Flask preferred)
• Familiarity with SQL databases and query optimization
• Basic understanding of RESTful API design principles
• Exposure to Git version control and collaborative development
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn

Preferred:

• Experience with AWS services (EC2 Lambda S3 SQS or similar)
• Knowledge of asynchronous task processing (Celery Kafka)
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration
• Exposure to data processing libraries (Pandas NumPy)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
