Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse Operating Room (OR RN)
Location: Hobbs NM
Duration: 8 Weeks Contract
Shift: Day Shift (07:00 AM 03:00 PM)
Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts
On-Call Requirement: Yes (12 days per week and 12 weekends per month)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to support surgical services in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong perioperative experience and be comfortable assisting across a variety of surgical specialties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Assist surgeons during procedures while maintaining sterile technique
- Prepare operating rooms instruments and equipment for surgeries
- Monitor patients before during and after surgical procedures
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams anesthesiologists and support staff
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care
Required Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior Operating Room experience (travel experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Experience in multiple specialties including:
- Orthopedic
- General Surgery
- GYN
- Podiatry
- C-Section
- Endoscopy
