Quality officer

Accountabilities:

• Quality Champion: Act as the local point person for Seeds Development ensuring continuous product and process quality improvement aligned with the Seed R&D Quality Management System.
• SOP Development: Review standardize and maintain SOPs for NSPP and Trialing to strengthen trial and seed quality with documentation available in Reliance.
• Quality Culture Implementation: Lead efforts to embed a strong quality culture support teams in handling nonconformities and guide root cause analysis (RCA) development.
• Data & Knowledge Management: Maintain R&D data assets repositories technical knowledge and intellectual property to enhance data quality for business decisionmaking.
• Compliance & Stewardship: Monitor and enforce adherence to Syngentas internal rules GM stewardship practices and local regulatory requirements.
• Audit Reporting & Training: Support local audits facilitate KPI reporting sustain improvements through documentation and deliver qualityrelated training activities.
• Crossfunctional Collaboration: Work with stakeholders across PPP Trialing NSPP and GD teams and contribute to the Quality Champion network to share learnings and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

• Educational Background: BA/BS degree or technical diploma preferably in agronomy or seed science.
• Industry Experience: Prior exposure to quality management and seed production processes is strongly valued.
• CrossFunctional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse disciplines including research finance regulatory marketing and sales.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Excel Word PowerPoint and SAP functions.
• Analytical & ProblemSolving Skills: Strong data analysis capability to support sound recommendations and timely decision making.
• Good command in speaking and writting in English.
• Professional Attributes: Demonstrates accountability confidentiality responsiveness teamwork and the ability to establish clear measures of success.
