Project Controls Engineer (Risk Management) – Energy Projects

To strengthen our project controls capability we are looking for a Project Controls Engineer with a strong focus on Risk Management to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of high-impact energy projects.

As a Project Controls Engineer (Risk Management) you will play a key role in identifying analyzing and managing risks across the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with project managers planners and stakeholders to ensure risks are understood monitored and mitigatedsupporting informed decision-making on complex energy projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop maintain and manage project risk registers
• Lead risk identification workshops and facilitate risk reviews
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis including Monte Carlo simulations
• Conduct schedule and cost risk assessments and scenario modeling
• Define and monitor risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Integrate risk insights into project schedules cost forecasting and reporting
• Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and performance tracking
• Provide clear data-driven risk reporting to stakeholders and senior management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering procurement and construction (EPC)

Qualifications :

• Degree in Engineering Project Management or related field
• 5 years experience in Project Controls with a focus on risk management
• Experience in energy projects (e.g. renewables power oil & gas)
• Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and cost & schedule control
• Hands-on experience with quantitative risk analysis and risk registers
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (or similar) and risk tools (e.g. @Risk PRA)
• Professional certifications (e.g. PMP PMI-RMP AACE) are a plus
