Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Workday)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in Workday testing. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality reliability and accuracy of Workday implementations and integrations across key business functions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to validate system behavior support end-to-end testing processes and ensure that Workday solutions meet business and functional requirements. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Workday modules strong QA fundamentals and the ability to clearly communicate testing outcomes and risks.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute test strategies test plans and test cases for Workday implementations and enhancements.

• Perform functional integration and regression testing across Workday modules such as HR Financials or related areas.

• Validate Workday APIs and integrations ensuring accurate data flow between systems.

• Execute end-to-end testing scenarios to ensure business processes function correctly across modules and systems.

• Conduct exploratory testing to identify defects edge cases and usability issues.

• Document and track defects including clear reproduction steps and impact analysis.

• Collaborate closely with developers POs PMs business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure proper test coverage.

• Support test planning requirement reviews and solution validation discussions.

• Maintain and update test documentation including test cases test results and testing artifacts.

• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities in QA processes and testing coverage.

• Communicate testing progress risks and quality metrics effectively to stakeholders.

• Support biweekly production releases including validation activities scheduled on Wednesdays (afternoon) and occasionally on Saturdays (midday); schedule may evolve based on business needs.

• Participate in test planning requirement reviews and solution validation discussions.

• Coordinate with the offshore QA team on task assignments status updates and other collaborative efforts to support effective work handoff.

• Support the testing and validation of emergency releases and unplanned fixes to help ensure quality and stability in Production environments.

Qualifications :

• 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with strong focus on functional and integration testing.

• Hands-on experience testing Workday modules such as HR Financials or similar areas.

• Solid experience in Workday functional and API testing including tools or frameworks such as Kainos or similar.

• Strong experience with test planning test case creation execution and defect management.

• Familiarity with integration testing and regression testing in Workday environments.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end QA processes across complex systems.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new business processes and rules as they continue to evolve.

• Proven ability to write clear detailed defect reports and track issues through resolution.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

• Familiarity with ticketing systems such as Jira and test management tools like Xray or Zephyr.

• Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
