About the team and the role:

At eBay Australia our Seller Marketing team helps sellers start grow and thrive on our marketplace. We connect sellers to the programs tools and insights that matter most to their business success translating strategy into clear timely and effective communications that drive engagement and action. Working closely with teams across Seller Growth Product Category Operations and Analytics we develop high-impact campaigns and content that support sellers through every stage of their journey.

The Senior Associate Seller Marketing Owned Channels will lead seller communications across key owned touchpoints while working in a collaborative and flexible team environment. This role plays a critical part in crafting how and when sellers hear from eBay ensuring communications are relevant well-coordinated and aligned to business priorities.

Reporting into the Seller Marketing & Engagement Lead this role combines channel strategy campaign briefing and development content delivery and stakeholder management to influence seller experience at scale.

What you will accomplish:

  • Develop and deliver coordinated seller campaigns across channels (including email onsite banners push notifications SMS and web pages) ensuring a cohesive seller experience aligned to key business priorities.

  • Brief campaigns effectively by defining objectives audiences key messages channel approach and success measures. Coordinate efforts with interdisciplinary teams to implement those plans within timelines.

  • Improve seller engagement with communications by optimising targeting content cadence and channel mix using performance insights to increase engagement and action.

  • Partner with Product Seller Growth Operations Analytics and Category teams to bring key initiatives to market and translate business updates into seller-friendly communications.

  • Lead and optimise our seller marketing calendar to reduce message overlap and ensure sellers receive timely relevant and well-sequenced campaigns.

  • Testing reporting and campaign analysis to find opportunities for improvement helping increase marketing effectiveness. Sharing insights and identifying new ways to support seller success and business growth.

What you will bring:

  • Experience in lifecycle CRM content or owned-channel marketing with a track record of turning business needs into effective campaign or communications plans.

  • Strong campaign planning and briefing skills including the ability to define objectives audiences messaging channel strategy and measures of success.

  • Confidence working cross-functionally with a range of partners balancing multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and delivery quality.

  • A data-driven approach including experience using campaign results and customer insights to optimise performance and future communications.

  • Familiarity with marketing workflows campaign planning agency briefing and marketing operations ideally in an ecommerce marketplace or digital environment.

  • This role is based in Australia and works closely with local and stakeholders; occasional flexibility in working hours may be helpful when partnering across teams and time zones.
