Cardiovascular Surgical Institute of NW Florida is an ambulatory surgery center located in Panama City FL. With two operating rooms the center provides high-quality cost-effective outpatient surgical care primarily for Cardiovascular procedures.

Owned and operated in partnership with Compass Surgical Partners (an ASC Management organization) the center combines advanced technology with compassionate patient-centered care in a convenient setting.

Role Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op PACU and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients delivering individualized nursing care monitoring recovery and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.
Hours:
Per Diem; Wednesday Thursday or Friday; about 2 days/week
No nights weekends holidays or call

What Youll Do

• Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery

• Document accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patients

• Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocols

• Support patient education and post-op instructions

What Youll Bring

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Current RN license (unencumbered)

• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)

• Strong clinical judgment communication and teamwork skills

Compensation:
The actual hourly rate offered will be based on experience education and relevant background.
