The Security Architect designs and governssecurebydesignarchitectures aligning security strategy with businessobjectives risk appetite and regulatory requirements across cloud infrastructure applications data and identity.

• Define andmaintainenterprise security architecture principles patterns standards and reference architectures
• Lead security design for new platforms services and major initiatives
• Conduct security architecture reviews threat modelling and risk assessments
• Ensure alignment to Zero Trustdefenceindepth andleastprivilegeprinciples
• Define SOC strategy operating model service design policies SOPs playbooks and reporting
• Act as a trusted security advisor to architects and engineering teams
• EmbedsecuritybydesignandDevSecOpspractices across delivery
• Drive continuous improvement automation and innovation including AI/ML adoption

WhatSets You Apart

• 10yearsin cybersecurity with architecture or senior engineering experience.
• Strongknowledge ofcloud IAM application data and infrastructure security knowledgeacross modern enterprise environments.
• Experienceapplyingsecurity frameworks ( SABSA TOGAF).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Has defined and embeddedorganisationwidesecurity architecture standards across delivery teams and platforms ensuring consistent adoption aligned to risk appetite regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
• Has driven the early integration of security into solution design resulting in a demonstrable reduction inlatestagesecurity issues architectural rework and delivery risk.
• Experienceprovidingtrusted pragmatic security advice to senior technical and business stakeholdersevidencedby positive stakeholder feedback and effective enablement of delivery outcomes.
• Has led andevidencedmeasurable improvements in organisational security maturity through architectural governance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
