An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Strategic Assets and Facilities Management Service as aFacilities Operations Officer.
The strategic asset and facilities management service (SAFM)is responsible forthe councils property estate. This includes all aspects of property management including acquisition and sale of land and buildings capital works maintenancecomplianceand facilities management.
As a Facilities Operations Officer you willprovide operational support to the Facilities Management teamensuring all councilbuildings aremaintainedand managed to a high and sustainable levelto achieve willbe responsible formonitoringsuppliesoperatingthe postal operation within the hub buildingincluding the online business postal accounts andprovidingfirstline response support and resolution for Facilities Management and IT issues andgeneral faults on siteandescalating issues whereappropriate.
We are seeking an individual with a strong understanding of customer service and a positive can do awareness of Health and Safety legislationalongside experience in a customer facing role would be desirable. The abilitytoprioritiseyour ownworkload andtomaintaina positive attitude whilst working in apressurisedenvironmentwill play a crucial part in the role.
