Role Overview
The IPQC Leader oversees in-process quality control on the production floor leading inspectors ensuring compliance with quality plans and supporting QE on issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Manage shift schedules and attendance of QC inspectors across assigned areas.
Lead in-process quality inspection in line with the production plan.
Prepare complete and verify all relevant inspection records and documentation.
Coordinate with QE to resolve abnormalities found on the production line.
Confirm day-to-night shift handovers and ensure follow-through on actions.
Maintain and verify the QC Ledger; track corrective actions to closure.
Manage on-site documentation and 6S housekeeping.
Participate in non-conforming product handling and verify corrective actions.
Support customer-complaint investigations; track corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications
Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3 years on-floor quality control experience.
Proficient with QC 7 Tools and 5M1E methodology.
Able to read mechanical drawings; comfortable with vernier micrometer height gauge etc.
Strong communication coordination and teamwork skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong Chinese (listen/speak/read/write) used as a working language.
