Key Responsibilities
Implements maintains and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries benefits 401k garnishments taxes and other deductions.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires terminations and changes to pay rates.
Processes weekly payroll for office and field employees.
Provides assistance to Human Resources as needed.
Process weekly employee expense reimbursements.
Files payroll taxes weekly quarterly and year-end as well as processing W2s.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Provides assistance to the Accounting Department.
Downloads and uploads data files weekly for health and dental insurance.
Processes company credit card transactions.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Accounting or related field required.
3 years of related experience.
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation balancing internal control and payroll taxes.
