Provides benefits and insurance enrollment assistance navigation and education to virology patients. Provides ongoing education and training for staff regarding medical benefits insurance and billing processes. Ensures billing for services is processed accurately and in a timely manner.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Assists virology patients with their enrollment in Medicare Medicaid ACA Marketplace plans sliding fee scale patient assistance programs.
Receives and approves Ryan White Program coverage requests and inquiries from ID faculty and staff as well as other specialty providers.
Provides ongoing training for faculty staff and patients regarding billing insurance patient assistance sliding fee scale etc.
Distributes information to virology patients regarding their benefits and insurance enrollment as well as billing.
Assists with the invoicing process.
Ensures insurance/benefits are accurately documented for patients in EPIC and the Statewide CM database.
Performs other duties as assigned.

$52600.00 - $78900.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University.
