Senior Residential Support Worker

Salary: 16.15 per hour 1500 joining bonus
Hourly Rate: 15.75 per hour 5 per hour (additional rate where applicable)
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 160 hours per month
Employment Type: Permanent
Sleep-ins: Paid at 65 per sleep

Service: Childrens Home
Service Users: Young people aged 817 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Children & Young Peoples Workforce
Experience Required: Experience within Childrens Residential Mental Health or Secure Unit settings

We are looking for experienced resilient and committed individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with complex needs. You will be confident managing challenging behaviours building strong relationships and providing consistent nurturing care.

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the home acting as a positive role model and helping young people to develop life skills emotional resilience and independence.

You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (this is not deemed equivalent).
Candidates with only HealthCare NHS CQC or Nursery Practitioner qualifications will not be considered.

Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.
