About the Role
As aField Case Manager you will coordinate andfacilitatemedical care for injured workers within the workers compensation your clinicalexpertise independent judgment and advocacy skills to guide recovery manage complex cases and influence positive return-to-work outcomeswhile building strong relationships with providers employers and claims professionals.
This is afield-based positionrequiring travel to medical appointments employer sites and stakeholder meetings throughout the local territory.
WhatYoullDo
Independently assess injured workers and develop coordinated treatment plans with medical providers
Serve as a liaison between injured workers physicians therapists employers and insurance representatives
Attend and coordinate medical appointments to ensure continuity of care
Interpret medical recommendations and clearly communicate treatment plans to all stakeholders
Collaborate with employers to recommend job modifications and return-to-work strategies
Advocate for injured workers while balancing cost-effective outcome-driven care
Exercise independent clinical judgment in managing evolving and complex cases
Prepare detailed monthly case reports andmaintainaccuratedocumentation
Stay current on workers compensation regulations and case management best practices
Participate in account meetings in-services and industry events as needed
WhatWereLooking For
Required:
ActiveRegistered Nurse (RN)license
Prior experience incase management(workers compensation or occupational health strongly preferred)
Strong clinical assessment skills and medical terminology knowledge
Ability to work independently and manage a field-based caseload
Excellent communication organization and documentation skills
Preferred:
Certified Case Manager (CCM)certification
Experience in hospital rehabilitation or occupational health settings
Multilingual skills (a plus notrequired)
