Shift: Day Shift (07:30 AM 03:30 PM)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (8 hours/day 5 days/week)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to support patients with mental health needs in a clinical setting. This role involves working closely with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety provide emotional support and assist in implementing treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the care and supervision of patients with behavioral health conditions
- Monitor patient behavior and promptly report changes to clinical staff
- Provide emotional support and help maintain a safe therapeutic environment
- Support patients with daily activities and interactions
- Follow established safety protocols and facility guidelines
- Collaborate with nurses therapists and interdisciplinary teams
- Accurately document patient activities observations and incidents
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism
- Knowledge of patient safety practices and behavioral health protocols
Certifications & Licenses
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
