Duties & Responsibilities

Education and Development

• Fostering the learning of both English and French through engaging and stimulating activities.

• Preparing the children for school and supporting them in their academic progress.

• Organising extracurricular activities (sports arts music) and educational outings.

Care and Well-being

• Providing daily care for the children (meals baths dressing etc.).

• Maintaining a safe and healthy environment at all times.

• Building a trusting relationship with the children and members of the family.

Day-to-Day Management

• Collaborating with other members of the household team to organise the childrens daily life.

• Managing the childrens schedule and ensuring routines are respected.

• Accompanying the children on their travels (within Europe and internationally).

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience:A minimum of 5 years experience ideally with children in this age range and within semi-formal to formal household settings. Previous experience as a private tutor is a strong asset.

• Languages:Fully bilingual French/English with excellent written and spoken proficiency in both languages.

• Pedagogy:Ability to create a stimulating learning environment adapted to each childs individual needs.

• Patient caring and attentive.

• Autonomous organised and proactive.

• Flexible and adaptable to change.

• Discreet and respectful of the familys privacy.

Mobility

• Willingness to travel frequently and to work on a rotational basis (2 weeks on / 2 weeks off).

Additional Requirements

• Valid passport allowing travel to a wide range of countries.

• Driving licence (an asset).
