As one of the UKs fastest-growing education-focused IT providers supporting hundreds of schools and trusts nationwide were looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Customer Solutions team.
This is a hands-on collaborative role where youll help design deploy and optimise cloud solutions that transform how schools operate - moving them from legacy systems to modern scalable platforms.
The Role
Working closely with our Cloud Solutions Architect and alongside another Cloud Engineer youll play a key role in delivering secure high-performing cloud environments for our customers.
From migrations to optimisation youll contribute to projects that improve accessibility resilience and efficiency across school IT - ensuring minimal disruption to teaching and learning.
This role is based at our HQ in Walton-on-Thames reflecting the collaborative in-person nature of the team and customer engagement.
What Youll Be Doing
- Supporting the deployment configuration and optimisation of cloud infrastructure (Azure and Google Cloud)
- Assisting with cloud migration projects from on-premise to modern cloud environments
- Monitoring system performance availability and usage to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Troubleshooting cloud-related issues including connectivity performance and configuration challenges
- Contributing to automation and scripting to streamline processes and reduce manual effort
- Supporting backup disaster recovery and security best practices
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless integration with school systems
- Assisting with documentation reporting and client communication
- Participating in customer discussions translating technical concepts into clear practical guidance
What Were Looking For
- A strong foundation in cloud technologies and a desire to build deeper expertise
- Experience (or exposure) to Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud environments
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication skills especially when working with non-technical users
- An interest in education and making a meaningful impact in schools

AZ-900 SC-900 MS-900 Acronis Cloud Tech Fundamentals
