Job Summary
Jericho Elementary School is seeking a dynamic team-oriented educator to join our Grade 1 team as a Long-Term Substitute for the school year through early November. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of best practices in early literacy instruction
- Understanding of trauma-informed classroom management strategies
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Familiarity with standards-based math instruction
- Skill in using formative assessment to inform and plan instruction
- Knowledge of PBIS and Responsive Classroom practices
