Position Summary: The Court Administrator is responsible for upholding the values and core beliefs of the City of Prescott and the mission and values of the Arizona Judicial Branch. Work involves supervising managing and leading the activities of the Prescott City Court including overseeing fiscal budgetary and personnel functions as well as setting goals and making policies in conjunction with the Prescott City Judge. This individual serves at the will of the City Judge and has daily oversight and responsibility for all City Court operations including administrative financial facility security personnel and other responsibilities as delegated by the City Judge. City issues are reported through the City Judge to the City Council and Court related issues are reported through the City Judge to the Arizona Supreme Court. Essential Duties:
Qualifications: Education and/or Experience: A Bachelors Degree in Business Public or Judicial Administration or a closely related field. An equivalent combination of directly related work experience and education may substitute for the degree requirement on a two-for-one basis. A minimum of five (5) years of management experience with at least three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. Licensing Certification and Other Requirements: Must possess a valid Arizona drivers license. Arizona Certified Court Supervisor (ACCS) through the Arizona State Courts (ASC) Certified Court Manager (CCM) through the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) or Certified Court Executive (CCE) or ICM Fellow preferred.
