LO Watchkeeper

Unit Role:

Reserve Infantry - 6 RIFLES is to provide formed companies and individuals for operations act as a basis for regeneration and maintain strong links to the civil community.

Position Role:

Company LO Watchkeeper for C Coy in a Light Role Infantry Battalion split between Dorchester and Poole.

Responsibilities:
1. Deputising for the Company Commander/Second in Command.
2. Detailed planning of all training and exercises as directed by the Company Commander/2IC.
3. Course bidding for all members of the Company including education (Career Courses).
4. Liaison with outside organisations with reference to training (Battalions DIO Civilian organisations etc).
5. Coordinating Company duties and routine checks.
6. Career management of RSDs.
7. Maintenance of the readiness and ITR states across the Company.
8. Command Lead Administer & Career Manage an Inf Pl in barracks during training/exercise & preparing them for operations in the UK or overseas.
9. Maintain current Army Values & Standards.
10. Required to support Training Nights and week-end activities and the Annual Deployment Exercise.
