Role Overview

The Inside Sales Representative I (ISR1) is a foundational role responsible for executing

day-to-day transactional sales activities with a focus on speed accuracy and operational

excellence.

This position supports customer accounts through quoting order processing and

coordination across internal teams including Engineering Quality and Logistics. ISR1 plays

a critical role in ensuring a seamless customer experience while building the technical and

commercial skills required for future growth within ICAPE.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Account Management

Support assigned accounts through daily transactional activities

Maintain clear professional and timely communication with customers

Track and follow up on RFQs orders and delivery timelines

Quoting & Cost Analysis

Process RFQs using ICAPE systems (E-shop Matrix Supplier RFQ)

Prepare accurate and timely quotations

Validate customer specifications and escalate complex requests

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with Engineering Quality Logistics and Customer Service

Ensure smooth transition from quote to order fulfillment

Communicate risks proactively to avoid delays

Process Improvement & Reporting

Maintain accurate data in SAP and CRM systems

Monitor KPIs such as turnaround time and order accuracy

Analyze basic operational reports and identify inefficiencies

Training & SOP Compliance

Follow ICAPE Standard Operating Procedures

Participate in onboarding and continuous learning programs

Develop foundational PCB and systems knowledge

Required Skills & Experience

Education & Background

Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain or related field preferred

13 years of experience in customer service inside sales or B2B environment

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Teams)

Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP preferred)

Ability to learn technical tools and quoting systems quickly

Operational & Analytical Skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational and time management skills
