Job Purpose
To facilitate with plant teams to manage Dairy Plant UHT and process plant and ensure the quality of the product as per PAPL standards.
Key Principles & Responsibilities
- Drive the ‘Quality and Food Safety’ culture across the value chain.
- Drive Quality goals/KRAs and achieve the set targets year on year.
- Identify plan document and manage the practices activities and resources needed to meet quality goals and objectives.
- Implement PAPL quality standards for raw materials packaging materials and finished products at all company-owned plants and franchisee plants.
- Ensure adherence to PAPL guidelines/specifications/requirements.
- Overall knowledge of handling Raw Milk Reception including analysis as per IS standards and criteria of milk selection for different processes.
- Thorough knowledge of Fermented Products Raw Milk Flavored Milk and Testing procedures.
- Well versed with Reconstitution and Recombination process of Milk.
- Flavored Milk and Fermented Products (Drinking Yoghurts) preparation.
- Knowledge of UHT Homogenizer Aseptic Tank and Aseptic packaging (Tetra Pak and Pet Bottle) system operation.
- Lead the team and ensure adherence to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor the production process based on KPIs and identify scope for improvement.
- Ensure the plant runs without any deviations; analyze and compile deviation reports if any.
- Manage the efforts of operating teams in efficient conversion of material into a quality product.
- Impart functional training to the team and ensure plant hygiene.
