Founded in 1953 Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Teach specific Health Information Management and Technology courses as noted below.
HITC 100 Introduction to Medical Office Procedures; HITC 200 Medical Billing Insurance and Health Record Review; HITC 210 health Information and Physician Practice Management.

Masters Degree required from an accredited college or university.
HITC 110 Medical Coding
Must be a CPC approved instructor to teach the PMCC Medical Coding course using the AAPC coding curriculum.

Preferred Qualifications: Post-secondary teaching experience preferred. Experience with online delivery systems (D2L Brightspace) highly desirable.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide classroom instruction in the Business department.

Evaluate student performance.

Participation in departmental division wide and college wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported

At the direction of the Department Chairperson Adjunct faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary is $1523.00 per contact hour.
