A day in the life
As a Planning Analyst in the Capacity Planning Team your daily responsibilities will center around generating and maintaining data-driven capacity plans to ensure operational efficiency. You will start your day by reviewing performance metrics and analyzing any execution gaps from previous plans using these insights to refine future forecasts. Throughout the day youll collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on resource requirements and implementation strategies. You will spend time diving deep into data analysis using tools like SQL and Excel to extract meaningful patterns and trends that inform your planning decisions. Regular stakeholder meetings will be part of your routine where youll present your findings and recommendations to key business partners. Your role will also involve continuously monitoring planning accuracy identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions to enhance the planning process. Working in this dynamic environment youll need to remain flexible and ready to respond to changing business needs while maintaining focus on long-term strategic planning objectives.
- Bachelors degree in engineering statistics computer science business analytics information systems or related field Proficiency in MS Excel Fluency in SQL Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work experience in operations/supply chain/logistics Knowledge of VBA Exposure to capacity planning Experience working with data warehouse systems Experience working cross-functionally Experience in complex problem solving and root cause analysis Experience with supply chain management concepts
