Job Summary

Title:Lead Data Engineer - Snowflake

Location:Miami FL

Role:

Data Pipeline Development: Design build and optimize complex data pipelines and data warehouse solutions (using Snowflake dbt Python and Matillion ( or similar ELT/ETL tools) ).
Architecting new patterns within Snowflake defining standards and reference architecture within Snowflake
Cloud Migration: Transition legacy systems to cloud-based data solutions.
Data Governance & Quality: Ensure high standards in data governance security and validation.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with senior management to align data engineering efforts with business needs.
Team Leadership: Lead or coach team members (particularly for Manager roles).

Skills & Experience:

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Management or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 7 years developing and implementing data warehouses or cloud data solutions.
2 years managing a team in a data engineering capacity.
Must have 2 years Snowflake architectural experience
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL Python and scripting languages (PowerShell).
Tools: Experience with Snowflake dbt Matillion or similar ELT/ETL tools.
Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
