At SKF we are looking for an Application Engineer Lubrication Systems to join our Regional Centralized Lubrication Systems team. This role is key in delivering application engineering technical support and customized lubrication solutions while building strong technical relationships with customers across Latin America.
The position works closely with Sales Distributors and internal SKF teams to develop valueadded solutions improve asset reliability and support business growth.
Mission
To develop and present application engineering proposals and customized lubrication solutions according to customer requirements communicating them clearly and effectively.
The role provides technical support to customers including technical inquiries application engineering projects reengineering initiatives technical claims handling and technical risk management.

The Application Engineer works in close collaboration with the commercial organization contributing to business opportunity generation and the development of highvalue technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized technical support for centralized lubrication systems
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead them through engineering projects to increase asset reliability and generate customer savings
- Perform technical visits to customers and distributors across the assigned region
- Analyze lubrication systems and recommend technical and operational improvements
- Participate in application engineering and reengineering projects
- Deliver technical assistance and training sessions to customers and internal teams positioning SKF as a technical reference
- Perform mechanical services at customer plants when required
- Support the Sales organization by contributing to business development opportunities and valueadded solution design
- Respond to technical inquiries follow up on customer requirements and manage technical claims
- Comply with management instructions and SKF procedures related to:
- Safety and Environmental risk reporting
- Quality standards and specifications
- Identification of technical risks and continuous improvement opportunities

- Frequent regional travel including travel outside regular working hours for customer visits services and events

Profile We Are Looking For
Education
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred not mandatory)
Experience
- 5 years of experience in industrial environments related to:
- Application engineering
- Maintenance
- Technical support
- Industrial solutions or lubrication systems
Technical Knowledge
- Lubrication systems and industrial maintenance
- Ability to analyze systems and propose engineering improvements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with technical reporting and engineering tools is a plus
Languages
- Intermediate English (B1) technical and professional communication
