Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support clinical operations and deliver high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting with dental procedures maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring a smooth workflow across both clinical and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and organize treatment rooms prior to patient visits
Sterilize instruments and adhere to infection control protocols
Assist dentists during procedures by handling instruments and materials
Take and process dental X-rays as required
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
Support front desk tasks including scheduling and basic administrative duties
Monitor inventory and restock dental supplies
Ensure a clean safe and patient-friendly environment
Collaborate effectively with dental team members
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Prior experience as a Dental Assistant
Knowledge of dental procedures and chairside assisting
Valid X-ray certification
12 years of hands-on experience
Preferred:
Experience with dental practice management software
Strong communication and organizational skills
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
Education
Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or
Minimum one (1) year of relevant practical experience
