Position Title: Dental Assistant

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support clinical operations and deliver high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting with dental procedures maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring a smooth workflow across both clinical and administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms prior to patient visits
- Sterilize instruments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Assist dentists during procedures by handling instruments and materials
- Take and process dental X-rays as required
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
- Support front desk tasks including scheduling and basic administrative duties
- Monitor inventory and restock dental supplies
- Ensure a clean safe and patient-friendly environment
- Collaborate effectively with dental team members
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Prior experience as a Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental procedures and chairside assisting
- Valid X-ray certification
- 12 years of hands-on experience
Preferred:
- Experience with dental practice management software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
Education
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant practical experience
