ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION
TITLE: Teacher: Early Childhood Evaluation
Team Summer 2026
(contingent on enrollment funding and programming)
SALARY: per diem - hourly rate
FUNDING: General Fund
DEPARTMENT: Special Education and Related Services
WORK SCHEDULE: Hours and number of days to be determined by the Director ofSpecial Education and Related Services
Reports to Supervisor of Early Childhood Education will commence in June 2026 after school ends and run for up to 20 days.
DUTIES:
1. Responsible to Executive Director of Special Education and Related Services and/or her designee.
2. Conduct identified teacher assessments to assist in the determination of eligibility of Pre-K students.
3. Attend meetings Team meetings.
4. Development of Individualized Educational Plans for children qualifying for services.
5. Assist with assignments for Special Education PreK students.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Presently employed as an Early Childhood Teacher.
- Knowledge of Early Childhood assessments
- Working knowledge of compliance and IEP development.
- Expertise in the utilization of the Special Education and related databases and technology.
- Adept at data searches and document upload.
- Willingness to work in any school.
- Demonstrated commitment towards maintaining a compliant caseload.
- Preference given to individuals who have previous experience performing above duties.
- Experience working with early intervention agencies and the preschool population.
