POSITION TITLE:Summer Intern

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be assigned in a research laboratory. Interns receive closely supervised training and are able to develop professional skills. Duties vary based on assigned administrative department or research is a temporary paid position for a maximum of 90 days and is subject to minimum wage and overtime laws. Students can work up to 40 hours a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Molecular cloning.
• Human primary cell and cell line culture preparation of media and reagents.
• Lentivirus production.
• Data analysis and lab notebook documentation.
• The position requires great attention to detail dexterity of the hands troubleshooting capability and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION:

The expected hiring range for this position is $17.75 to $23.47 per hour commensurate with experience. Consideration will be given to experience that exceeds the listed requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be currently enrolled in high school an associates program a bachelors program or masters program.
