Overview
Leons Furniture is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Administrator to support our Legal Department. This on-site (non-remote) role combines legal coordination and administrative responsibilities supporting stores managing claims and documentation and working closely with internal teams and external partners.
The ideal candidate is organized adaptable and comfortable handling a variety of legal and operational matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage delivery driver and property damage claims including tracking and reporting
- Coordinate insurance matters such as claims deductibles subrogation and renewals
- Assist with customer incidents and escalated customer concerns
- Communicate with insurers stores and external legal counsel
- Process vendor chargebacks for defective merchandise
- Maintain litigation files and summaries
- Prepare and review legal documents reports and correspondence
- Support corporate filings including annual returns and compliance deadlines
- Assist with leases contracts employment agreements and property-related matters
- Coordinate legal invoicing accruals and support accounting processes
- Obtain and provide Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
- Support stores and internal teams with legal and operational matters
- Assist with reporting requirements including regulatory reporting
- Provide administrative and project support to the Legal team
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Law Clerk Paralegal Studies Legal Administration Business Administration or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or legal support role
- General understanding of legal terminology and processes is an asset
- Experience handling customer issues or escalations in a retail environment is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrates initiative accountability and a proactive approach to work

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $50000 to 65000 annually; skill set and experience will be taken into consideration for total renumeration of role.
