Job Summary
Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district.
TheSecretary III-Bilingual in the ELO Department will:
- Perform difficult and varied typing requiring independentjudgment and discretion.
- Serve as an aide to a District administrator by performing administrative and technical duties.
- Assist in coordinating a broad range of functions and programs throughout the District.
- Monitor budget of a specialized department
- Perform other related work as required.

- WORK SCHEDULE:8hours/day 5 days/week Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- BENEFITS: Benefits package includes Health and Welfare paid sick leave vacation and holidays (currently observing 16 paid holidays a year).
- REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; three (3) years of responsible office experience; supplemented by additional training in office organization and secretarial skills preferably including experience in a school district; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities. Must be able to type 45 net words per minute; BILINGUAL REQUIRED: must be able to speak read and write in Spanish.
- LICENSE/CERTIFICATE:Typing Certificate dated within the last six (6) months. NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED. (Required on or before May 11 2026).

Resume indicating at least three (3) years of responsible office experience in a school district.Typing Certificate with verification of completion (dated within the last six (6) months) of typing assessment with a corrected net speed of 45 words per minute.
