Were looking for:

The Senior Azure Cloud Engineer is a key member of the DevOps Platforms & Cloud Engineering practice responsible for designing building and maintaining secure scalable and resilient Azure cloud platforms. This role combines deep cloud engineering expertise with strong automation DevOps and operational practices to support high quality and reliable delivery across the organisation.

What youll do:

• Design build and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and modern automation practices
• Improve platform reliability performance and security through proactive engineering and continuous optimisation
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineering DevOps and Security teams to support seamless deployment and operations
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud native services to enable consistent automated delivery
• Enhance monitoring observability and alerting to increase visibility and reduce operational risk
• Partner with engineering teams and leaders to contribute to cloud patterns standards and best practices

What you bring:

• Experience designing and operating solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of Azure services networking security identity and cost governance
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform) and automation tooling
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud native delivery workflow
• Understanding of DevOps and/or SRE principles such as reliability resilience observability and automation
• Ability to contribute to cloud architecture and engineering decisions and help guide platform direction

Nice to have (but not required):
Experience in platform engineering or developer experience platforms
Understanding of security operations threat modelling or zero trust principles
Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerised workloads
Familiarity with Azure Policy governance frameworks and compliance tooling
Exposure to Enterprise Landing Zone Architecture
Participation in engineering communities of practice or cloud governance groups
Experience with mentoring coaching or technical leadership
Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
