In our office in Zoetermeer we havea vacancy for thepositionof: Design Engineer

As Design Engineer you will report to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO).

The design engineer is jointly responsible for the development of new products against agreed deadlines based on market requirements and per set regulations as set out by the Product management team.
As part of the R&D team the Design Engineer is responsible in developing solutions for meeting the agreed functional technical and regulatory design requirements.

Responsibilities

The Design Engineer responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that products will be developed according to the internally agreed functional technical requirements and performance standards.
• Having up-to-date knowledge of the current and (near) future technologies required for the assigned development tasks with respect to the companys products.
• Delivering according to the set time frames.
• Periodically informing the CTO on the progress of the assigned development tasks.
• Maintaining the operational progress in the applicable company (ERP and development) systems.
  

Who are you:

• Preferably degree level or higher in Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in embedded firmware and hardware design.
• Experience with RF product development.
• 5 years of experience in similar role
• Good command of English both verbal & written
• Team player ability to work solo
• Good communication skills
