As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Shepherdsville KY you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location where you will conduct routine patrols remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post offering the chance to support daily operations with professionalism teamwork and integrity while bringing an agile reliable and caring approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents suspicious activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas common spaces parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access support crowd flow and assist visitors customers and staff as needed.
• Report maintenance concerns hazards policy violations and/or operational issues observed during patrols to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
