- 3 12 hour shifts 7pm-7am
- Weekend rotation
Pay Range
$19.80 - $29.70The Nurse Aide I assists in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The Nurse Aide I assists in maintaining a clean safe patient environment and performs job responsibilities in a safe manner. The Nurse Aide I maintains clinical and professional competencies as appropriate to the ages developmental stages and special needs of the patients served.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program
- Current listing with the NC Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I required
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider certification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to support comfort hygiene mobility nutrition and safety
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing feeding toileting transfers and positioning
- Measure record and report vital signs intake/output weights and other patient data
- Support basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection blood glucose checks and non sterile dressing care (per competency)
- Monitor patients under close observation needs including safety and behavioral precautions
- Communicate observations and complete documentation per policy and care team direction
- Assist with range of motion exercises CPR postmortem care and other delegated tasks
- Provide patient and family support and education under RN supervision
