Your New Role...

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our International Finance & Accounting team in Madrid. This role is ideal for someone with a solid accounting foundation who wants hands-on exposure to month-end close audits tax processes and SAP working closely with senior accountants managers and external advisors

Your Role Accountabilities...

• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries accruals and reconciliations
• Maintain balance sheet accounts and supporting documentation
• Support VAT and tax-related processes
• Assist with external audits (Big4): TBs support files and follow-ups
• Work with SAP (S/4HANA or ECC)
• Track pending invoices and resolve discrepancies

Qualifications & Experience...

• Proven accounting experience in an international company
• Degree in finance economics business administration or similar SAP exposure highly valued
• Fluency in Spanish and English languages Advanced Excel skills
• Proficient in relevant Microsoft applications
• A team player and experience working with globally diverse teams across EMEA Able to collaborate with stakeholders effectively internally and externally eg internal finance team and auditors outsourced accountants and other external advisors Media / entertainment industry background is a plus
